For 99.999% of the people, if not more, yes. For the technologically enlightened, not really.

Since those who know are in the irrelevant numbers, it's very important to enhance the perception of those who don't know as a means to let them become enraged.

Hopefully positive change will ensue.

Also, people have lost contact with the concept of #privacy  . The "if you have nothing to hide you shouldn't fear" brainwash has been too successful. When I use analogies with, for example, their home doors they understand it for moments, but then it quickly fades away... oh well, maybe i'm just #paranoid =\

It's insane. Only in movies could this have any effect :-)
